Trip Announcement...Tis The Season!

When I started this blog one of the things I wanted to focus on was sharing some of the behind the scenes stuff that goes into planning a Walt Disney World vacation. My blog doesn't deal with rumors, Disney News or over complicated touring plans.  I like to focus on things that first time visitors would find beneficial. I like to simplify something that has seemingly become very complicated in the  last 5-10 years. By showing you how I plan my own families vacation, I hope that it will help your family and give you a sense of how I can help my clients!!  Over the last few years I've shared many trips with you....family trips to Walt Disney World, working trips, Girls only trips, cruises and much more!

So it's time again!  It's been almost 2 years since we planned our last trip as a family. Kennedy was just 16 months old last time we traveled together!

We are so excited so let's get the planning started!!

When
My husband is currently going to school full time, on  top of working full time so finding time for a vacation for all of us has been tough.   As he nears the end of his time at school (357 days and counting) it's become even harder to schedule a vacation.    We decided to head down this holiday season after the Fall Semester has ended...which works our perfectly because our dates line up with the Free Dining deal!  We will be at Walt Disney World December 14-20th.

Who
Well of course we'll start with the obvious...Hubby and I!

Our first daughter Kennedy who will be 3 1/2 when we head to Disney. We are so excited as she is in the prime of Disney's Princesses...and really everything Disney right now. She asks daily if we are going to Walt Disney World.  Her wishlist so far includes:
-Lunch with Cinderella
-Riding Dumbo
-Meeting Belle
-Swimming

Our newest addition, Finley! It will be her first trip to Disney and she'll be 7 months old. I can't wait for her to experience Walt Disney World with her sister. Kennedy's first trip was at 5 months old and we had such a great time!!

And what Christmas trip to Walt Disney World would be complete without Nana and Papa?  My parents came down with us on Kennedy's first trip and cruised with us a few years ago as well. My Dad isn't exactly a Disney guy, but my Mom really wants to be there for the girls. We've compromised by promising him Christmas lights and some alone time with my Mom :) We'll be traveling together but won't be spending EVERY second of the trip together. Dad is also our official photographer!

My dad has lost over 65 lbs from this picture!

Where
Well for that you'll have to wait for another blog post! In the upcoming months and weeks I'll be sharing more planning posts about our resort, itinerary, dining plans and more!!

Finley Elizabeth

Good morning! I promise I won't make this too long but for those of you that have asked I thought I'd provide a quick update! I'm still out of the office so I'm not checking/returning emails at the moment. I have some great support so if you need something just shoot me an email!

Finley Elizabeth was born May 2, 2014 weighing in at 8lbs 14oz and 21 inches long.  We had a planned C-Section (due to my previous c-section with Kennedy).  Surgery went very well although we did spend a little extra time in the hospital due to Finley being Coombs Positive and ABO Incompatible.  We are both doing great now and I can't believe she's already a week old!

Update with her Newborn Photos:
