A Very Dapper Girls Getaway - Resort Selection

Wow...this summer has REALLY flown by! I need to spend some time catching you all up on our Very Dapper  Girls Getaway in just 29 days.

Today let's talk about our resort selection. I think this may be the hardest part of our trip every time!  We always debate back and forth about which category to stay and then WHICH resort. SO without further ado...here is our resort selection! Disney's Boardwalk Villa's!

Let's go over WHY we selected this resort!!


In no particular order...

• It's Dapper Day Weekend!! Not to many hotels fit the theme of what we are participating in quite like this one.   The thought of getting all dolled up at Pop Century just didn't seem to fit.
• Location, Location, Location! As we are planning a lot of time at EPCOT'S Food and Wine Festival, this resort is in a great location, allowing us to hop a quick boat ride or take a quick walk.
• I can easily say that for both Lauren and I, this is our favorite resort. The ambiance, the smells, the Boardwalk...there is nothing about this resort we don't love!

When it comes down to it, there are several factors to consider when selection your resort (and things we thought about too!)

• Who are you traveling with? For Lauren and I we are traveling just the two of us, with no kids. A Deluxe resort was a great option as we'd easily take advantage of a lot of the amenities AND we'd appreciate the look and feel of the resort itself....my kids could care less and will be thrilled by their Pop Century stay next year.
• Cost...Since this is a work trip, and again just the two of us, we opted to splurge a little. Deluxe is not always in our budget. Our last girls trip we stayed Moderate and my family and I are staying value on our next trip.  Decide how much time you'll spend at the resort, which amenities you would use (or not use) as well as location when factoring your decision
• Room size and amenities. Again we have an advantage this trip to staying without my kids. As just 2 adults we got a great price on a Studio Villa. We love having the bit of living space, plus a small kitchennette...mainly for wine, let's be honest!

Dapper Day is quickly approaching and I can't wait to be staying at my favorite resort! Stay tuned for a lot of photos!!
