A Very Dapper Girls Getaway Trip Recap - Day 2

Our 2nd day was one I was really looking forward to. I'll just put it out there...I'm not outdoorsy. I don't camp...I have no interest in camping or being outside with all the creepy crawly things. SO it should come as no surprise that I've only been to the campgrounds ONCE (to go horseback riding).  As part of our mission to try new things, we opted for an early reservation at Trails End.

Trails End is not hard to get to... just a little time consuming. We had a car during this trip so we simply drove to the campgrounds and then hopped on an internal bus to the Settlement Depot.

If you don't have a car you can easily take a boat from the Magic Kingdom which would drop you off right at the Settlement Depot. If you are coming from another park or Downtown Disney, you can hope a bus over here, but then you'd have to take the internal bus.

This restaurant is not large, but it's nice and cozy.  It was almost 9 a.m. and it was VERY quiet...it remained this way through whole meal. I attribute it to location...the food was...well keep reading!

There was a LOT of variety! The first station was a variety of pastries, muffins and cinnamon rolls!

Next up was a variety of meats alongside these adorable mason jars filled with yogurt (and some granola to mix in)

What buffet wouldn't be complete with Mickey Waffles? There was also an AMAZING bread pudding along with eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage....oh I could go on all day!

Lauren's plate of food

All I can say is WOW. I was so impressed with this breakfast. At under $20 per person it was also an amazing table service option (do NOT use your credits here).  I will definitely be adding this to our future itineraries!
After breakfast we headed back to the hotel as Hollywood Studios was on the itinerary for the day. We parked the car and hopped on the boat. This is by far my favorite form of Disney transportation.

We had an awesome day at the Studios and got to see everything we wanted! Tower Of Terror, Rock N' Roller Coaster, Beauty and the Beast, One Man's Dream, Toy Story Mania, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Muppets, Great Movie Ride...plus an AWESOME late lunch at Pizza Planet with some of the best cupcakes on property!

Today was HOT..as would be the next few days. We opted for a break back at the resort to lie down and enjoy the air conditioning before we headed out for drinks and dinner...coming up next!
