If you are following along we are already on Day 4 of our trip...but our 2nd FULL day at the parks. Today we head to Disney's Animal Kingdom. This is one the park's that I find a lot of clients skip because they think it's a Zoo. This couldn't be further form the truth and we are disappointed that we can't fit in TWO days here!
Since we don't have any table service booked for the day we plan to get to the park bright and early! The park is open from 9 a.m to 7 p.m. and we'll be there by about 8:30 a.m. We have 9:50 a.m. Fastpass+ reservations for the Safari so we have a few options:
- Head to the Safari first and ride it again at 9:50 a.m. (every Safari is different)
- Hit another attraction in the meantime
I think our plan will be to make a stop at the Adventurers Outpost to meet a few characters, grab a bite to eat an then head to the Safari. I love that when we visit Animal Kingdom it's a more laid back kind of day. We have Fastpass's for Everest and Dinosaur as the little one's won't ride. We'll also see both Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo between exploring the nature trails and eating lunch!
Hubby may even convince me to ride Kali River Rapids with him if it's warm enough! After a full day at Animal Kingdom, hubby and I will be having date night!! Post coming up tomorrow!
